Waiting on Wednesday (6) Queen of Shadows

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine to highlight upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

Apparently these past two weeks I'm being really lazy, because this week I'm waiting on:

Title: Queen of Shadows
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Pages: 704
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Release Date: September 1, 2015

Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire-for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past...

She has embraced her identity as Aelin Galathynius, Queen of Terrasen. But before she can reclaim her throne, she must fight.

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.

Celaena's epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena's story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world.

So I love the Throne of Glass series.  Duh.  Of course I'm anxious for this one.  The cover is amazing.  I love red covers (and I don't have that many of them).  I'm super excited.

  4. Everyone has this series on their list and I haven't tried it yet, even though I did read the first book. But there didn't seem to be any romance in the first book, which I'm ashamed to say I have to have at least a little bit of, so I wasn't in a hurry to get the next one. Does that aspect improve? New follower, btw! :-)

    1. The second book has some romance in it. There wasn't really a way for there to be much in the third book. But I'm hoping for some in the fourth.

I agree with you. I gotta have the love stories :)
