Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

This week's Top Ten theme is top ten 2015 releases I meant to get to but didn't.

Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1)
Yea. I seriously didn't get to this one.  It's high on my priority list, though!

The Witch Hunter (The Witch Hunter, #1)
I honestly don't even own this one yet.  Hopefully soon!

Rook
I have it!  I just haven't read it.  It's also long and I was trying to read a lot of short books last year.

Made You Up
I really want to read this one.  Unfortunately, it got pushed aside by me trying to make my GR goal of 200 books (i.e. I was going for short books mostly).

Walk on Earth a Stranger (The Gold Seer Trilogy, #1)
Not only do I own this book, I got it signed last year at YALLFest.  Rae Carson was so awesome and sweet.  And she encouraged my silly tales when she asked how I hurt my wrist haha.

Through the Dark (The Darkest Minds, #1.5, #2.5, #3.5)
I have all of Alexandra Bracken's books except for Brightly Woven.  I keep looking for a used copy, but they're hard to come across.  All of the books of hers that I own are signed.  So I need to get to this one.  I read the Liam short story and it was fantasmic!

The Rose Society (The Young Elites, #2)
This is one of the books my sister got me for Christmas.  And surprise!  It was the only one I didn't already own.  So now I have an awesome signed copy to read whenever I can.

Ash & Bramble (Ash & Bramble, #1)
I need more Cinderella in my life.

The Fearless
I really liked ACID.  So I'm hoping this one is just as good.

The Stars Never Rise (The Stars Never Rise, #1)
-cough- I have an ARC of this.  Yes.  I'm that far behind lol.

What are you hoping to finally get to this year?

  4. I really want to read Six of Crows, but I have to finish the Grisha trilogy first. Rook was rather good! I hope you enjoy it!

    1. If you're finding it hard to finish the Grisha trilogy, I understand wanting to finish it, but it's easy to read Six of Crows without knowing anything about the events of the trilogy. I couldn't get past Shadow & Bone. I'm not sure what it was, but I just never finished it, and I ended up loving Six of Crows. Anyway, when you do read it, I hope you like it!

  5. I enjoyed Six of Crows and I thought The Witch Hunter was okay. I actually didn't read any of the other books on your list! I hope you enjoy them when you get around to reading them. :)

  6. I wanted to get to The Rose Society too! I was so bummed that I couldn't find the time, but definitely this year! I can't wait to see what happens in the rest of the series. Six of Crows and Made You Up were some of my favorite books of 2015! Unfortunately, I (unpopular opinion) hated The Witch Hunter. Just wasn't for me :( A lot of the plot elements were irrelevant or poorly done. Hopefully you'll like it more than I did!
