Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

This week't theme was a freebie.  So I thought and thought and finally came up with one!  Top Ten fictional characters I would NOT want as my mortal enemy!

Illuminae (The Illuminae Files, #1)
Kady - This girl is so determined.  And she's crazy good with computers.  I think if she hated me my life would be ruined.

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)
Celaena Sardothian - I think it's fairly obvious why I would not want an assassin as my mortal enemy.

The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1)
Clancy - This asshole can get into your mind and make you do things. No thank you.

Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1)
Katsa - This is pretty much the same reason as Celaena. It's obvious, right?

A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, #3)
Cersei Lannister - I so wanted to say Joffrey.  But honestly, Cersei is a bit scarier throughout the series. I would hate to be on her bad side.

Gone Girl
Amy Dunne - If you've read this (or even seen the movie) you know what I mean. She was a lot crazier in the book though.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1)
Mara Dyer - Imagine if your enemy could just think you dead. Yea. That would be excellent.

The Young Elites (The Young Elites, #1)
Adelina - This bitch be cray. I'm kind of scared to read the second in the series lol.

The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2)
Gandalf the White - I enjoyed these books so much more than the movies. And Gandalf is insane badass here.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter #5)
Hermione Granger - I had to pick one of the books, but this goes for the series as a whole. Hermione is awesome and strong. And I would be really afraid of her.

Don't forget I have two giveaways going on here!
What's your top ten today?

  1. I love your topic choice! Oh god, I SO wouldn't want to be Clancy's enemy - that guy was super-manipulative and terrible. Also, one doesn't even have to be his enemy to do terrible stuff to, so imagine what he has prepared for his mortal enemy. *shudders* I'd live in constant fear if Mara Dyer was my enemy... her power is so creepy and... final haha. I think, from your list, Hermione is the one person who I'd be comfortable to have as my enemy, and only because I think that she'd not want to seriously hurt/kill anyone, even her enemy. Does that make sense?
    Anyhow, wonderful list! :)

  6. YAY! Great choice of topic this week. I always love freebie week as people always do such amazing topics! Your topic choice is the best and I sooo agree with so many of these. Celaena Sardothien would be a very scary enemy to have indeed, she would kill me. Amy Dunne is a girl I really wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of, I am pretty sure I would not live long enough to regret it.

Here's my TTT post if you want to check it out. I picked non-book romances I would love to see get book adaptations.

  7. I love your idea! I totally would not want to anger Celaena! If that happened I think that I would just hide in a bunker until I died. Great post! :)

  8. There are so many great topic choices this week, and yours is no exception. Love this idea! Totally agree about Kady- she was awesome and tough. And Celaena- haven't read those books but I've seen enough reviews to know she's something of a badass! And Cersei- no doubt. She'll do anything to off someone if they get on her bad side. And all she has is bad side!

I want to read (and see) Gone Girl after hearing how crazy it is!
