Other things that happened this month:
I signed up for the three-month trial of audible. I know, I know. I was seriously on the fence about this because I'm not really into audiobooks. But I'm so behind on my reading challenge. And it seemed like listening to audiobooks at work would be a nice change of pace. I don't plan on keeping the service after the three months. It's kind of expensive.
I also finally got a library card. I was completely opposed to this for reasons seen here. But there is no point in not having one when I pay property taxes.
One last thing that happened was I started a new discussion thing every Sunday. Let me know if that's going okay, if you have ideas for discussion posts, etc.
So here's a recap of all my posts:

And finally... my Bookoutlet Haul
Okay suffice it to say that they really need to stop sending me coupons...
Very nice haul. I, too, have been on the fence with audible. I'll listen to an audiobook here and there, but never enough to really have a reason to have a subscription. I'm curious to see what you think when your three months are up. Also, I do enjoy your Sunday discussions and look forward to them!
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad to see someone enjoys my discussion posts! It's fun writing them, but I hate coming up with topics.
DeleteAs for Audible, I'm enjoying the trial while I have it. Since I can listen to music or books all day I've already used both my free ones this month. But I checked some out from the library. I still doubt I'll renew the subscription (even tho at $14.95/mo it's not a bad deal since audiobooks are expensive). I think I can use the library mostly.
